Kordelia first discovered her passion for music & dance when she found an old record of some wild music while growing up in Germany when she was about 6. It wasn't until many years later, when watching Fame & especially her favourite Gregg Burge in the movie "A Chorus Line" when she got inspired and scouted out a place to learn Jazz. During previous years she had followed her passion to music and started selftraining her voice to songs of recording artists such as Regina Belle, Whitney Houston, Randy Crawford, Adeva and many others. Shortly after she started taking dance classes. Music & the urge to sing were so strong that she decided to move to New York where she received her main technical training in different dance styles at schools & studios such as Broadway Dance Center, Ballet Arts at City Center, Steps on Broadway and Alvin Ailey.	•••••••••••••>	Since then, she has performed for recording artists and groups such as *NSYNC, latin diva Charo, singers Billie, Adam Barta, Symbiose and many others. She appeared in Fitness Magazine, Ballet Tanz Magazine, in a recent American Express commercial with Beyonce, and the GenArt Fashion Show along with several other commercials and videos. Some of her Film/TV credits include Columbia Pictures “Center Stage,” where she worked with choreographer Susan Stroman, "Across the Universe" directed by Julie Taymor, HBO’s “Sex and the City,” “As the World Turns”, "13 going on 30", "The Notorious Bettie Page", "Baby Mama", "Cloverfield", several appearances dancing on ABC’s “All my Children” and "The Ainsley Harriott Show". Some upcoming films are "All Good Things" starring Kirsten Dunst, "The Good Guy", the animated feature "The Smurfs", "Arthur" and "Friends with Benefits" starring Justin Timberlake. She also worked with Superbowl XX director Marc-Anthony Thomas and not only performed for the Arcor CeBit Industrial in Europe but was asked to choreograph a section. • • • V
She has been teaching Hip Hop/Street Jazz, Jazz incl. Lyrical & Latin, House and TSR/SR for many years in New York at schools & studios such as Ballet Arts at City Center, Dance New Amsterdam, Peridance Center, The Dalton School, New York Acting Institute, Steps, Elevation Yoga, the Harlem Educational Activities Fund, Asphalt Green & NYSC. Kordelia has been guest teaching workshops and master classes throughout the US, including Hawaii and Europe. She was asked by Associated Dance Teachers of NJ to judge and teach master classes for their conventions. She teaches for Go Beyond Workshops who bring Master Teachers to Studios & Schools around the country + also organize Dance Vacations. She's also been invited twice by the Maui Academy of Performing Arts as Artist in Residence and has coached/taught singers & actors how to dance including Taylor Dayne, Javier Ruiz and Jill Larson (All My Children). But that's not all... she is a freelance artist and has done airbrush & graffiti designs and it only felt natural to Kordelia with her love to music to start singing again and to create her own music. Check out her new Music & Art pages here on her website.	<•••••••••••••	Among her other choreography credits are three time Grammy nominated recording artist Taylor Dayne who she has also created the Opening number stage design for, as well as rap group Deadly Portrait, latin singer Javier Ruiz, DJ Joey Negro's clubhit "Make a Move on Me", the NYC show & dance Experience for Camel/Germany, the New York Film Academy, as well as concert pieces for The Maui Academy of Performing Arts & clients of Go Beyond Productions. She worked with MTV to cast dancers for the show "Club Cancun" & ABC for "Dance Wars". Others include Dr. Pepper, Samsung, T-mobile, the Santa Fe Opera, she staged promotions for VISA checkcard, Hasbro Toys, Men's Health Magazine, Crash Mansion as well as fashion designer Hugo Boss for his event including 18 dancers feat. DJ's Grand Master Flash and Tommy Lee. She directed & choreographed a Heinz Ketchup commercial for the Top This TV Challenge and even incorporated choreography on Heely's. She is the first to choreograph Flagging and combining it with different dance styles in a concert piece (Video upon request).
